FULLY FUNDING OUR SCHOOLS  

The state of New Jersey told Jersey City that because of its growing tax base, Jersey City was able to do more to fund its schools. This is why state legislators are gradually removing adjustment aid from the Jersey City Public Schools.

Over the next two years, it’s going to be very important for Jersey City to produce additional revenue outside of the payroll tax to fund its school. Chris will work with all stakeholders to ensure that Jersey City Public Schools are fully funded to ensure that our students receive a thorough and efficient education.
