BIKING/PEDESTRIAN SAFETY
We need to champion the work of Bike JC, Safe Streets JC, and other advocates for pedestrian and cyclist safety. We also need traffic calming solutions to achieve Vision Zero. We have lost too many lives due to traffic accidents. We need to increase enforcement to help change negative behaviors that lead to the loss of life. We also need to employ traffic calming solutions to have all of our pedestrian walkways and bike lanes be as safe as possible.
